Stripping and waxing or refinishing is the process of removing old layers of wax and dirt, then applying new wax which restores the floors to a like-new appearance and protects if from future damage. After waxing, the floors needs to be buffed like you would do on your vehicle after waxing it. The buffing brings out the shine. In commercial environments, restoring the floors by stripping, waxing and buffing, should be done every six to twelve months for heavy-traffic like in restaurants and offices.
